Holland Exchange

In this article we are going to talk about the Holland exchange in which we are participating in our high school. This year, some teachers, who are in the plurilingual programme, had decided to participate in the second edition of this experience.

First of all, we should say how this started. Last year, Gema Luis Lafuente and Lina Sanchis created a profile in an international platform called etwinning and they received an email from the Dutch teachers to participate in an exchange with them. 

It consists in Dutch people coming to Spain and vice versa. Holland students will come here for five days next march and spanish ones will stay there in may. The minimum age to take partof it is 14. The participants will be living with a host family, going to their partner’s high school and they will visit important places from The Netherlands like Amsterdam or Utrecht. Also they will do cultural activities and share many experiences with other teenagers as they will learn a lot.

The main objective of this project is to learn more about dutch culture and improve their level

of english.
